Hello! I’m Michael Scarano, a dynamic digital marketer and social media manager with a BFA in Film/Media from Cleveland State University.

My passion for media started In high school, I was taking a class called media production and my school needed people to live stream the school sporting events. We also would produce and edit a bi-weekly news show for the school and community. This experience was more than just fun, it was my first taste of real-time content creation. Operating switchers, managing cameras, and providing live commentary, I learned the importance of thinking on my feet and delivering engaging content in the moment.

I then got a job at Mentor Rocks which amplified my skills in live event production and camera operation. Working in a 20,000-person amphitheater, I was responsible for capturing fast-paced action with a Sony fs7 camera, directing other camera operators, operating the switcher and ensuring smooth operations from setup to teardown. This experience taught me the value of teamwork, quick decision-making, and adaptability—skills that have proved invaluable in my social media work.

During College I used the skills I learned to get my first freelancing gig as a social media manager and video editing. Ever since then I’ve been freelancing with diffrent creators in the self-education space. My role has been multifaceted, encompassing everything from content creation to strategy development and performance analysis. I’ve worked tirelessly to build and grow online presences for various clients, achieving remarkable results along the way.

One of my proudest accomplishments has been generating over 150,000+ followers across multiple accounts and accumulating more than 100,000,000+ views from the content I’ve created and managed. This success didn’t come overnight, it was the result of careful planning, creative execution, and a deep understanding of what resonates with audiences across different platforms.

My expertise spans a wide range of content formats. I’ve produced and edited podcasts that keep listeners coming back for more, crafted long YouTube videos that engage and inform, and created short-form TikTok content that captures attention in seconds. While I enjoy the challenge of all formats, I have a particular affinity for longer-form content that allows for deeper storytelling and more comprehensive exploration of topics.

One of the most effective strategies I’ve developed is a seamless pipeline from viral video content to strategic calls-to-action in comments and descriptions. This approach has not only boosted follower counts but also driven significant sales for my clients, turning views into tangible business results.

My technical skills are as diverse as my content creation abilities. I’m proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop for eye-catching graphics, Premiere for sophisticated video editing, and After Effects for adding that extra layer of polish to my productions. These tools, combined with my creative vision, allow me to produce high-quality, professional content that stands out in crowded digital spaces.

As a Digital Marketer, I’ve taken on leadership roles, managing teams and training new members.
